Tambov residents returned from the Russian championship in practical pistol shooting with two awards of the highest standard. The championship was held in Yekaterinburg.
Over 400 athletes from all over the country took part. The team of the Tambov region returned from the championship with two awards.
Daria Ivanova confirmed her title as the reigning champion of Russia. She again climbed to the highest step of the podium, showing the best result among women.
– Andrey Saprykin won another gold medal of the Russian championship, becoming the eight-time champion of the country, – the department of physical culture and sports of the Tambov region specified.
Andrey Saprykin was also the coach of the national team of the Tambov region. The success of Daria Ivanova is his achievement. Another young woman from Tambov, Varvara Polyakova, went through all the stages of the championship without a single miss.
