Taekwondo athletes of Buryatia won 12 medals at the youth martial arts games



The taekwondo team of Buryatia won 12 medals at the XIV All-Russian Youth Martial Arts Games in the Krasnodar Territory. In a large-scale tournament, medals in 23 types of martial arts and martial arts were played by about 5,000 athletes from all over Russia, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic reports.

12 medals: 7 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze were won by the ITF taekwondo team of Buryatia at the XIV All-Russian Youth Martial Arts Games, the report says. Gold medals were won by Maria Filatova, Nikita Zakharov, Anastasia Burdina, Mikhey Irincheev, Nikita Shulgin, Daniil Zaborskikh, Daria Sheloputina. Ayur Bainov, Artem Shekhovtsov, Veronika Chertenkova won the silver of the competition. Bronze medalists were Taira Parpaeva, Valeria Milyushina.

- Every year these competitions become more and more large-scale. From year to year we observe the growth and professionalism of athletes. I would like to note that among 18 teams in the team standings, our athletes lost only to the hosts and Moscow and took the third position,” shared the coach of our team Igor Tsybdenov.

The Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Belarus congratulated the athletes and coaches Igor Tsybdenov, Bair Buddhadariyev and Margarita Kupriyanova on their medals!
