Swimmer from Blagoveshchensk set a record



As reported in press service of the mayor's office of Blagoveshchensk, a local young swimmer set a record when he competed in all-Russian competitions. Semyon is a pupil of the Youth Sports School No. 1 (the Nadezhda pool). He performed at the All-Russian swimming competitions "Reserve of Russia". In the preliminary swim at a distance of 50 meters with a butterfly, the guy showed a time of 24.92 seconds and reached the final with this result.

In addition, the swimmer in the final covered the distance in 24.42 seconds and took third place. Thus, he set a record for the Amur Region.

The competition brought together 75 of the strongest athletes of Russia, who were selected at the competitions of the Far Eastern Federal District. Among them were two athletes from the Amur region.
