The heads of the DPR, LPR and the leadership of the pro-Russian administrations of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the pro-Russian administration of the Kherson region. “The meeting with the president is, of course, scheduled. I don’t have this information now, I can’t say where, what, when. But I think that the meetings will take place, a lot depends on these meetings, and I think we will already leave here as full-fledged subjects of the Russian Federation,” Mr. Stremousov said on air “Soloviev Live”.
The plane with the pro-Russian leadership of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions arrived to Moscow the day before, September 28, in the evening. Mr. Stremousov said that they had gathered to make a “historic decision.” On September 27, referendums on joining the Russian Federation ended in these regions. The election commissions formed by the pro-Russian authorities reported that the vast majority of residents supported this initiative.
