State services in the MFC will be provided by biometrics

Public services provided in multifunctional centers (MFCs) can become available without presenting a passport, simply by biometric identification. This possibility is provided by the amendments prepared for the second reading of the bill regulating the work of the GIS "Unified Biometric System" (UBS).

In addition, the amendments prohibit the storage of information on children under 14 years of age and genomic information in the EBS. A copy of the amendments is at the disposal of Vedomosti, its authenticity was confirmed by a source close to the authors of the bill.
