Sri Lanka visa fee to rise to $50 from December 1

From December 1, the cost of obtaining an electronic permit (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka will increase to $50, and a visa at the airport – up to $60. This follows from the data posted on online service ETA registration.

A single-entry visa for up to 180 days for tourists when applying online will cost up to $50. A visa for 30 days with double entry will also cost $50 when applied online, and $60 when applied at the airport upon arrival.

For children under 12, visas will remain free.

Now online visa processing for Sri Lanka will cost $35, while applying at the airport – $40.
