Ione Belarra, secretary general of the left-wing Spanish party Podemos, said the United States is responsible for the escalation in the Middle East.
She also accused countries of hypocrisy that are shaking their hands at Iran's recent attack on Israel, but have remained silent for a long time regarding the century-old genocide in Palestine by the Jewish state.
“The person responsible for all this escalation has a name: the USA,” Belarra wrote on her page on the social network X.
A day earlier, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel, firing about 300 missiles. A large number of missiles were shot down by the Iron Dome missile defense system, but many shells still hit the target.
