The administration of the capital together with Rospotrebnadzor opened a new service – portal consumer of the city of Moscow. With its help, Muscovites will be able to learn about their rights, file a claim with a store or court, and receive a lot of household advice, set out in a simple and understandable language. In addition, the site will not advertise paid legal services.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, an ordinary consumer will be able receive competent instructions and ready-made document templates. This will allow you to quickly and independently defend your rights. The portal has an abundance of presentations of training videos and even online courses.

The head of the capital noted that citizens will be able to learn about typical conflicts that arise when buying goods and services, and receive information on specific issues.

“For example, what you need to know about the rules for the exchange and return of children’s toys, what are the features of buying jewelry, how to purchase tickets online without risk, order plastic windows and use electronic payment systems,” Sobyanin listed. The portal contains information on in which cases it is necessary to apply to Rospotrebnadzor, and in which cases to the court.

Particularly useful in this sense will be the constructor of typical claims and lawsuits “Electronic Assistant”. It contains over 70 vendor claim templates and 40 claims. The portal will help you choose not only the type of appeal, but also the scope of the company. It will be enough for the consumer to fill out the template, indicating the reason for the appeal, then download the document and send it to the seller or to the court.

To use the service, it is enough to register on the official portal of the mayor of the capital and the government of Moscow.
