Having examined the new children’s and adult polyclinic on the street. Urzhumskaya in Sviblovo, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that she should receive the first patients in the first quarter of 2023. The head of the contracting company ANO “RSI” Yuri Kondurov promised him that the company would hand over the building before the end of the year. Start-up and commissioning work is already underway.

The clinic covers an area of 11 thousand square meters. This is three to four times more than the two polyclinics that are moving to it occupied.

“Both children and adults in Sviblovo will be treated in the most modern clinic according to all Moscow standards. Opportunities for diagnosis, treatment, and the number of doctors who will be here will be much higher,” the mayor said.

According to Sobyanin, a lot of work is underway in the capital to reconstruct existing polyclinics, but in some cases it is necessary to build new facilities. Old buildings are morally and physically obsolete, and there is no point in repairing them.

“In general, more than 30 new clinics should be built in the old districts and in the areas of new buildings in four years,” Sergei Sobyanin added.

According to the press service of the mayor, the readiness of the polyclinic is 90%. The four-story building with an underground floor provides for the placement of two blocks for 750 visits per shift. Branch No. 1 of the city polyclinic No. 107 and a separate subdivision of the children’s city polyclinic No. 11 will move to Urzhumskaya Street. It is expected that 68,000 residents of Sviblovo, 58,000 adults and 10,000 children, will become patients at the polyclinic.
