Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has named his decree, what benefits will be received by the families of the mobilized residents of the city. In particular, schoolchildren will receive two meals a day for free, their wife and children will be helped in finding a job, and the whole family will be provided with psychological assistance.

After the mobilization of a citizen, his children, spouse and other close relatives will be able to apply for the following support measures:

for kids –

  • extraordinary enrollment in kindergartens upon reaching the age of one and a half years;
  • extraordinary transfer to another kindergarten or school close to the place of residence of the family;
  • exemption from fees for attending city and municipal kindergartens;
  • providing free two-time hot meals (breakfast, lunch) to schoolchildren from 1st to 11th grades;
  • providing free one-time hot meals (lunch) to students of city colleges;
  • priority enrollment in extended day groups of schoolchildren from the 1st to 6th grades, as well as exemption from payment of the extension;
  • exemption from payment for classes in circles and sections of additional education;

for elderly relatives, disabled people and disabled children —

  • providing needy families raising children with disabilities, as well as senior citizens, disabled people of groups I and II of social services at home;
  • priority referral to veterans’ homes and other stationary social service institutions;

for wives and children of working age –

  • organization of vocational training and additional vocational education;
  • assistance in finding a job;

for the whole family –

  • provision of one-time financial assistance;
  • providing psychological assistance;
  • assistance with registration of social and other payments and other social support measures;
  • legal advice.

“The specialists of the center will carefully consider the situation in each particular family. And, if the support measures listed above are not enough, they will try to help on an individual basis,” the decree states.

Partial mobilization held from September 21 by decree of Vladimir Putin. Mobilized Muscovites will pay an additional 50 thousand rubles. per month.
