Sobyanin: "Measures of support will be provided to the mobilized and their families throughout the SVO"

During a visit to the City Center for Supporting the Families of the Mobilized, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin promised that the authorities of the capital would support them throughout the special military operation (SVO) and would not leave anyone behind.

It was for these purposes that the Center for Supporting the Families of the Mobilized was created. According to Sobyanin, helping the families of conscripts is no less important than the mobilization itself. People found themselves in a situation that was difficult to imagine yesterday, and they were not ready for it. Therefore, they will be provided with targeted assistance - material, psychological and legal.

The mayor of the capital stressed that support would be provided in various areas. Including - the placement of children in schools and kindergartens, extended groups, providing them with food and social services for mobilized parents.

“There are also options for assistance related to social services at home and placement in our residential institutions, and a number of others. There are a lot of questions related to finding a job, retraining, including even such issues as learning to get a driver's license,” Sergei Sobyanin added.

He promised the families of the mobilized that, if necessary, they would be helped with paying for the stay in kindergartens and classes in circles.

“We will take care of all this and pay for it at the expense of the city: additional food, additional stay at school, circles and so on. If there is such a need, then according to the statements, we will do all this,” said Sergei Sobyanin.

He recalled that Muscovites will be able to apply for help not only to the Center for Support of Mobilized Families, but also to special call centers, to groups created in military registration and enlistment offices related to issues of sending agendas.
