According to Mishustin, small businesses were also provided with preferential microloans, the average rate for which was 6.5%. “The program of preferential leasing of equipment was continued. They issued gratuitous grants up to 0.5 million rubles. young entrepreneurs and social enterprises,” the Prime Minister added.

Mishustin also added that the authorities have obliged state-owned companies to carry out 25% of purchases from small companies, reducing the payment period to seven days and increasing the advance payment to 50%. As a result, the volume of purchases by state-owned companies from small and medium-sized businesses almost doubled over three years and exceeded 7 trillion rubles.

Also, as part of the support for small businesses, the deadlines for paying under the simplified system of taxation and insurance premiums were extended, which saved enterprises more than 800 billion rubles. At the same time, an automated simplified taxation system was introduced for companies with no more than five employees and an income of less than 60 million rubles, Mishustin added.
