Shoigu: Women will not be called up as part of partial mobilization

In Russia, women will not be called up as part of partial mobilization. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. According to him, this was not in the plans for the future.

Sergei Shoigu, together with the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, as well as the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, checked the preparations and conditions for the placement of mobilized citizens.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a partial mobilization in the country. As Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu pointed out, 300,000 people are subject to conscription from the reserve. This corresponds to 1.1% of the country's total mobilization potential, which the head of the military department estimated at 25 million people.
