Shine of contradictions – Style – Kommersant

Fashion Week has ended in the French capital. Kommersant Style talks about her most striking trends.

Black eyeliner

Black-lined wet-styled grunge eyes at Dries Van Noten and Louis Vuitton, overlapping ponytails at the inner corners of the eyes at Dior, and tricky mascara at Ann Demeulemeester, eyeliner can be used in any way, endlessly experimenting. Curiously, Dior creative makeup director Peter Philips was inspired to create unusual arrows by model Stella Lucia. The makeup artist only warns that such makeup will make the eyes visually more closely set to each other.

Lush styling

Lush bouffants and voluminous styling of small curls in the style of the 80s – designers again turned to the most liberated times. Images with “cloudy” styling were presented at Vaquera and Rochas. In the first case, the hair is braided, only the tail remains voluminous, and in the second case, the hair is loose. You can repeat the styling with a special iron with corrugated panels or braid many, many small braids for the night. In both cases, it is important to brush your hair to make it more airy and fluffy.

Gold or silver textures are a big trend again. Makeup artists suggest creating an intense metallic glow on almost the entire face, generously shading the area around the eyes and even a little on the lips – such ideas were met at the Vaquera and Anne Isabella shows. Dense silver and gold shadows are used at Chloe and L`Oreal shows. Metallic is used even in nail design – this can be seen in the Rochas show.

Smooth styling

Smooth styling is a classic show. You can love them for several reasons at once: they are easy to make, they are universal for many haircuts and types of hair and give gloss to any look. Judge for yourself: at the Givenchy and Chanel shows, the hair is loose and combed back, at Loewe and Miu Miu it is gathered in ponytails and laid on its side, and at Isabel Marant it is braided into a ponytail.

At the Off-White and Balenciaga shows, stylists suggest not holding back and decorating the face with piercings. It is not at all necessary to make punctures – you can use jewelry to imitate. But the main thing is that the piercing should be on the eyebrows (and not just one earring, but several on both sides), in the nose and on the lower lip.

Tails

Another versatile styling option that can look very different. Ideas from the shows confirm this: decorated with scarves and therefore elegant Giambattista Valli or architectural laconic Sacai.
