Severgroup announced the purchase of tire manufacturer Cordiant – Kommersant
Severgroup announced that it is buying the Cordiant group of companies, a manufacturer of tires, auto components, thermal equipment and power tools. The transaction amount is not disclosed.
According to a press release, Severgroup received the rights to a diversified portfolio of brands of the Cordiant Group of Companies. In the line of passenger tires these are Cordiant, Tunga, Torrero, Gislaved, in the line of truck tires - Cordiant Professional and Tyrex. Other products include Meteor Auto, Meteor Thermo and Meteor Tech.
Severgroup received ownership of the assets from October 1, 2024. The deal was approved by antimonopoly authorities.
