The Disposal of Unnecessary Items service, launched on the mos.ru portal a year and a half ago, regularly updates the list of items available for recycling. Now, with the help of the service, Muscovites can get rid of old wooden doors, unnecessary pianos or accumulated waste paper weighing up to 300 kilograms.

The service can be used by all adult residents of Moscow who have an account on the mos.ru portal. However, please note that some services are provided for a fee.

As noted in the press service of the Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow, most often the “Export of unnecessary things” is used for the disposal of washing machines, refrigerators and gas stoves. In total, during the operation of the service, its specialists helped Muscovites get rid of 30,000 items. For a complete list of items available for pickup and service charges, please see on the service page.

Orders are fulfilled on any day of the week from 9.00 to 21.00. At the same time, the task of the townspeople is only the preparation of items for export. Everything else will be done by the workers themselves.

By the way, Muscovites help the environment by using the “Removal of Unnecessary Things” service: after all, unnecessary things and equipment are not sent to a landfill, but are subject to recycling or environmentally friendly disposal.
