Senator embarrassment: a member of the Federation Council was suspected of embezzling humanitarian aid
No one discredits the government as much as she herself
The fact that the enemy is cunning and cunning has long been known. And yet we underestimated, perhaps, its power. The enemy somehow managed to get into one of the pillars of our statehood, where the main headquarters for combating pernicious enemy influence is located - the commission of the Federation Council for protecting state sovereignty and preventing interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation. In short, a terrible thing happened: Senator Nina Kulikovskikh became a defendant in a criminal case on the theft of humanitarian aid.
The track record of the senator is so impeccable that it is obvious that only some very powerful external influence could knock her off the pantalik. Nina Germanovna's political career began back in Soviet times: in the 1980s, she worked fruitfully in the Komsomol field, rising to the post of secretary of the Vyazemsky (Smolensk region) city committee of the Komsomol. After that - work at school, in the regional administration, deputy in the Smolensk Regional Duma (fraction, of course, "United Russia"). She got to the Federation Council of Kulikovsky in 2020, becoming a representative of the regional executive power.
In general, not a biography, but a piece of candy: she was not noticed in discrediting political ties, she was not in anything bad and oppositional, but, on the contrary, consisted exclusively in the correct, imperious and patriotic. For which she was rewarded with awards (medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree) and thanks from her superiors. The "gold standard" for the "servant of the people" of our time. And suddenly - such embarrassment.
How the pernicious influence leaked into an organism so seemingly protected from it remains to be seen. The degree of deviation from pantalik, strictly speaking, is also still unknown. The defendant in the case is a rather broad concept. But, judging by the information of the press, the Kulikovskys "figure" very clearly and unambiguously.
“Criminal cases have been opened against Nina Kulikovskikh, Svetlana Panchenkova, an assistant to the senator from the Smolensk region,” Podmoskovye Segodnya reports. - Also among the defendants in the story of the theft of humanitarian aid for 16 million rubles, identified during the audit of Rosfinmonitoring, is the senator herself and the head of the Vyazemsky district, Inna Demidova. No criminal cases have been opened against them yet.”

Here is just one more vivid quote: “As a result of the analysis of the information at the disposal of Rosfinmonitoring in relation to Panchenkova S.A., Demidova I.V., Kulikovskikh N.G., Khomaiko P.V. and others revealed information about the legalization (laundering) of criminal proceeds through the use of cash and individuals (intermediaries) affiliated with officials, ”the resolution of the OEB and the PC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia“ Vyazemsky ”says.
It will also be important to note that the newspaper is far from being a private shop: Podmoskovye Segodnya is subordinate to the government of the Moscow Region, being, in fact, its official body. Just as the initiation of a criminal case is by no means a synonym for guilt. But something suggests - this is, of course, a value judgment - that the smoke swirling over the case of embezzlement of humanitarian aid is by no means without fire.
And in any case, it can already be stated today that the existing tools to combat the pernicious influence - primarily with the spirit of money-grubbing alien to us, the priority of the material over the spiritual - is clearly not enough. It would not be bad to send reinforcements to the article of the Criminal Code about discrediting the army in the form of an article about discrediting the authorities as a whole. More precisely - about self-discredit. And what good, tellers of political anecdotes and cartoonists will begin to plant.
No, caricatures and anecdotes, it must be admitted, are very offensive to those in power. But no one discredits the authorities as much as she herself. Well, in order to observe legal and political correctness, let's clarify: not all power, but some of its representatives. But, as people say, a black sheep spoils the whole herd.
And there is a fear that if urgent measures are not taken, then the growing concentration of miasms can radically change the socio-political atmosphere.
