Sellematics: sales of bulletproof vests and combat boots have increased in Russia

Sellematics analysts said that after the announcement of partial mobilization, sales of body armor and combat boots increased in Russia.
It is specified that for the week from September 21 to September 28, their sales on marketplaces increased by 2.5 times. At the same time, the largest increase in sales was noted on Ozon, where 1330 pieces of bulletproof vests were sold, which is 3.2 times more than a week earlier. On another marketplace, Wildberries, 540 bulletproof vests were sold over the same period.
“Immediately after the announcement of partial mobilization, the demand for equipment on all marketplaces increased significantly. As a result, the average price for all positions rose by about 1.2 times. At the same time, for certain categories of goods, the growth turned out to be multiple,” said Daria Tkachenko, head of the executive director of Sellematics.
