Sberbank told how scammers extort money from them by hacking the personal accounts of users of online stores. Attackers make a refund of customers who have recently received an order, and on behalf of the store representatives are asked to send them money under the pretext of "return by mistake", reported press office "Sbera".

“A store customer who recently received an order is given a refund. Immediately, a message arrives, allegedly from a representative of the store - they are asked to send them money, because the return was made by mistake. ''Employee'' gives details for the transfer. And if you send funds, they will go to the wallet of scammers, ”the company explained.

As the press service said, in order not to get into such a situation, you should in no case enter into a dialogue with an unknown person who wrote to you, introducing himself as an employee of an online store; contact the representative of the store using the numbers on the website of the site; use complex passwords and do not use the same passwords on different services; set up two-factor authentication, if it is available in the online store.
