Sberbank has suspended accepting applications and registration for IT mortgage transactions due to the exhaustion of the program limit. For the same reason, in mid-September the credit institution suspended registration for a family mortgage.

“The bank will resume accepting applications if a new limit is allocated. Under previously signed loan agreements, loans to customers will be issued in full,” says the Sber press service, which cites TASS.

According to Domklik, in September the bank’s share of IT mortgages amounted to 70%. During the program, from July 2022, Sberbank issued about 32 thousand loans worth 262 billion rubles. In June, the bank had already suspended the issuance of IT mortgages, but resumed her from August 21.
