Russian citizens living in Estonia began to voluntarily hand over civilian firearms on the eve of the adoption of a law on the annulment of licenses to own them, which had previously been issued by the authorities of the republic to Russians, writes ERR portal. According to police officer Riita Prooz, after the law comes into force, about 1,300 licenses will be invalidated, half of which were previously issued to Russians.
