Russian teachers will receive tablets on the domestic operating system
Russia will launch mass production of tablets for school teachers, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The devices will run on a domestic secure mobile operating system (OS).
During the plenary meeting of the Eurasian Economic Forum, Prime Minister notedthat the devices will simplify the work of teachers with electronic educational content.
The Prime Minister said that Russia has modern technologies and has mastered the production of complex electronic devices. “We invite our alliance partners to switch to these developments, together create additional demand, strengthen digital sovereignty and our joint economy,” said Mikhail Mishustin.
In early August, President Vladimir Putin ordered the provision of doctors and teachers with tablets based on the domestic operating system. The head of state gave the instruction following an extended meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects and State Council commissions on areas of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation.
