Russian schoolchildren will be taught the basics of housing and communal services: housing workers are being trained

A full-scale program for teaching schoolchildren the basics of housing and communal services is being launched in Russia. We are talking about both practical skills and the basics of rights and obligations in housing legislation. This was stated by State Duma deputy, member of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services Marat Nuriyev.

- Schoolchildren often do not know anything about housing and communal services as a profession, - said Nuriev. - But we expect that as a result of our work, the guys will become interested. Moreover, there is nothing complicated in organizing such training, no financial costs are required - there is a school, there are children, housing and communal services workers in the field are ready to go out and conduct classes in schools. Even 2-3 classes will give great success.

More detailed education in the field of housing and communal services can be provided by colleges that exist in every region, Nuriyev noted. According to the rector of NRU MGSU Pavel Akimov, the demand for building maintenance specialists in Russia is now significant, such people are always in demand. Alexander Vasilevsky, chairman of the All-Russian Trade Union of Life Support Workers, agreed with this: according to his data, the demand for these professions has grown by 30% over the past year.
