Russian Embassy: US transfer of Malofeev’s assets to Kyiv is outright theft

The diplomatic mission also emphasized that the actions of the US leadership devalue the values declared by American society, including the inviolability of private property. On Friday, US Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he had approved the transfer of more than $5 million in funds confiscated from Russian businessman Konstantin Malofeev to Ukraine. This is the first ever transfer of confiscated funds to Kyiv.
