Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said there was no dialogue with the United States on Ukraine

At the moment, there is no dialogue between Washington and Moscow on Ukraine. This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov. He stressed that he had no information about the alleged contacts of the head of the CIA, William Burns, with the Russian side.

“I don’t know anything about such contacts. And in principle, it is not very clear where such stuffing comes from. And for what purpose are the messages that cause a wave of speculation,” the diplomat said, commenting on the information that Burns offered the Russian Federation 20% of Ukrainian territory.

Ryabkov stressed that Russia is not negotiating with the United States on the situation in Ukraine and the special military operation. He noted that only representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the State Department communicate with the American and Russian embassies.

Formerly Ryabkov informed that Russia is preparing a new round of consultations with the United States on bilateral relations. At the same time, the terms and place of the negotiations were not agreed upon.
