Opora Rossii leader Alexander Kalinin sent an appeal to Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov, signed by representatives of the Russian business community, asking for a deferment from partial mobilization for key and highly qualified employees of small and medium-sized businesses.

The appeal emphasizes that in the current difficult situation in the country, the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses should continue to work to meet the needs of the state and the population. In this regard, the business community proposes to establish quotas for conscription from one enterprise, and in the case of mobilization of representatives of senior positions, to provide time for the transfer of cases.

The document also proposes to “suspend the accrual of fiscal and other obligatory payments that do not depend on the amount of revenue, but are tied to the very status of an individual entrepreneur (patent, insurance premiums, property taxes, rental payments)” for the period of mobilization.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has published a list of 195 IT specialties that are entitled to a deferment from mobilization
