Russian Ambassador told how Russians can get to Finland

At the moment, residents of the Russian Federation cannot enter Finland on tourist visas, but it is possible to do this on other types of visas. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

“From now on, the Finns are banning Russians from entering for tourism purposes. Other trips are still allowed - these are visiting relatives, work, study, medical treatment, business trips, and so on," the diplomat said.

He also noted that almost half of the Russians who were standing in line were deployed at the border with Finland, citing reports from the border service.

Recall that from September 30, Finland introduced a ban on crossing the border by Russians on tourist or transit visas.
