Russian Ambassador commented on reports of Serbian arms supplies to Ukraine

Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko said in an interview “Izvestia”that the stuffing in the media of information that Belgrade is going to provide weapons to Ukraine is connected with attempts to drive a wedge between the Russian Federation and Serbia. Earlier, some media, citing American sources, reported that an agreement had been reached on the supply of Serbian weapons, as well as the fact of such supplies.

“Such information is deliberately thrown in with the aim of causing discord in relations between Russia and Serbia. President Vucic has repeatedly – publicly and in conversations – stated that Belgrade does not supply weapons to the Kyiv regime, ”the Russian ambassador emphasized.

He also pointed out the fact that Serbian weapons previously acquired by third countries could end up in the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply due to the fact that the production volumes of the Serbian defense industry previously allowed the country to actively trade in weapons, including in the period before the start of the NWO.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador met with the President of Serbia, expressing support for the Balkan state in its opposition to the Albanian annexation of Kosovo and Metohija.
