Russia will send 3.3 billion rubles to support the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye

The first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kiriyenko, said that 3.3 billion rubles would be allocated from the budget. to support the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. He noted that the money will go to the implementation of development projects proposed by representatives of the mentioned regions.

“In total, 3 billion 300 million rubles will be allocated to support projects for residents of the liberated territories,” Mr. Kiriyenko said at a meeting of the committee for holding grant competitions (quoted by RIA Novosti).

He clarified that non-profit organizations from the territories of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR controlled by the Russian army will be able to apply for grants from the President of Russia if they are included in the Russian Federation. “So now we have been working with all territories… People, NPOs had all the rights, as if they were Russian individuals, Russian organizations,” the official commented.

One of the most resonant initiatives of the Russian leadership in the Donbass in recent times became personnel competition “Leaders of the Renaissance”, which is an analogue of the “Leaders of Russia”, held under the supervision of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. According to the results of the competition, the winners will receive 1 million rubles. to study in Russia, after which they can be appointed to senior positions in the Donbass regions.
