Russia is conducting a large-scale audit of warning systems - Kommersant
A large-scale audit of public warning systems will take place in Russia, reported at the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The event will run from approximately 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Each region will determine the exact time independently. During the inspection, a warning will be issued. The broadcast of radio and television channels will be suspended for a minute in order to transmit a special signal “Attention everyone!” As part of the training, the functionality of sirens and loudspeakers will also be checked.
“When you hear the sound of a siren, you need to remain calm and not panic, turn on the TV - any public channel or radio - and listen to the information message,” said the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The previous inspection of public warning systems throughout Russia took place on March 6.
