Rowers from Karelia brought medals from St. Petersburg

Sortavala rowers took part in the 82nd St. Petersburg autumn rowing marathon. Over the weekend, namely October 1 and 2, our athletes competed in the Neva water area around Kamenny Island and, as a result, did not leave without medals. This was reported in the public “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia”.

At the rowing marathon, the honor of Karelia was defended by 5 crews. “Gold” went to the girls’ crew of the doubles four, but the boys’ crew of the doubles four managed to take second place. Bronze medals were won by three crews.
