Rotation of IAEA mission at Zaporozhye NPP disrupted - Rogov

The rotation of the monitoring mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the Zaporozhye NPP has been disrupted, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of the Zaporizhzhya public movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.

Rogov noted that the disruption occurred due to the actions of the Kyiv regime. He said that the rotation was scheduled for May 25, then postponed for a day at the request of the Ukrainian authorities, and eventually disrupted by the Ukrainian side.

“Three IAEA inspectors from Argentina, Ireland and Morocco were supposed to come to us,” Rogov said.

According to him, on the eve of the arrival of new members of the mission, Ukrainian armed formations fired heavy weapons at the village of Vasilyevka, through which the IAEA delegations arrive at the station.

The mission has been at the nuclear power plant since September last year. Since then, there have been seven mission rotations, the last one at the end of April.
