Rostec allowed the transition of drones to components from the Russian Federation in a year

In a maximum of a year, Rostec will switch to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles entirely from Russian components, now friendly countries are involved in the supply, said Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of the state corporation.

“Today, we are doing a complete assembly, including from our own components, but we replace something, we supply something from outside, from friendly countries. In the future – I think, a maximum of a year – we will manage and will do everything at home, in the country, in order to create such devices, ”- said he is on the air of the Military Acceptance program on the Zvezda TV channel (quote from TASS).

In May 2022, Rostec State Corporation announcedwhich can go into the production of mini-drones for monitoring and adjusting fire.

As noted in the company, mini-drones are almost invisible, they literally fit in your pocket, while they allow you to adjust fire, monitor and receive intelligence in real time. They can significantly increase the effectiveness of combat units.

In January it became knownthat the enterprises of the corporation in the coming months should complete tests and begin mass production of a new generation of electronic warfare equipment (EW) and combat UAVs. Rostec also stated that its enterprises are handing over to the Ministry of Defense a batch of small arms and ammunition for it, drones, portable anti-aircraft missiles, anti-tank systems, missile formations are replenished with Iskander-M complexes, and anti-aircraft gunners receive Pantsir-S1 complexes.
