Roskomnadzor registers 11 media outlets in four new regions – Kommersant

In the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, 11 mass media received registration from Roskomnadzor. This was reported by the press service of the department.
As Roskomnadzor clarified to TASS, the department is currently considering a number of other media applications for registration in four regions, which were sent through the Gosuslugi portal.
In addition, territorial divisions of Roskomnadzor opened on the territory of the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Employees of the agency conducted training for local colleagues on media registration and licensing of television and radio broadcasting.
President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement to annex the four regions to Russia on September 30, 2022. In October last year, in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, there were registered and approved branches of the Union of Journalists of Russia.
