Roskomnadzor explained the blocking of SoundCloud by the spread of fakes about the special operation

The audio streaming service SoundCloud was blocked in Russia due to the distribution of materials “containing false information” about a military special operation in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Roskomnadzor.
“At the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia, Roskomnadzor restricted access to the SoundCloud service in connection with the placement of materials containing false information regarding the nature of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, its form, methods of warfare,” the press service said (cited from TASS).
Roskomnadzor blocked SoundCloud on the evening of October 1 by decision of the Prosecutor General’s Office. SoundCloud is used to distribute music, podcasts and other audio information.
