Footballer of the Portuguese national team and Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr Cristiano Ronaldo became the first user in history to gain 1 billion subscribers in the world's largest social networks. The athlete achieved this result on the night of September 13.
Ronaldo has an account on Instagram and Facebook (social networks banned in Russia; owned by the extremist company Meta, which is banned in Russia), as well as social networks X, YouTube, Kuaishou and Weibo.
"We have made history - a billion subscribers! This is more than just a number, it is a testament to our shared passion, aspiration and love for the game and beyond," the footballer wrote, commenting on the record he had achieved.
The Portuguese will turn 40 next February. He has won five Golden Balls throughout his career and is also the top scorer in the history of football in official matches, with 900 goals scored.
