Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out a large-scale offensive in the region have been thwarted.
According to him, the Ukrainian military wanted to go to the coast of the Sea of Azov as part of the offensive.
“The enemy’s plans to carry out a broad offensive against the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region were thwarted thanks to our pre-emptive actions,” Rogov said.
He clarified that at the moment the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to draw up reserves in order to try to hold the front line. In particular, the command of the Ukrainian troops is pulling forces from the Donetsk direction.
