Red Wings postpones launch of direct flights to Georgia for two weeks - Kommersant


Red Wings airline has postponed the launch of direct flights to Georgia for two weeks. The first flight is scheduled for June 15. This was reported by the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) in Telegram.

As follows from the airport schedule, flights from Sochi to Tbilisi and back will begin on June 15. They will run twice a week: on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Flights on the Moscow-Kutaisi route will be launched on June 16. They will be performed three times a week: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

There are no tickets for flights on these routes yet, ATOR noted. Previously, Red Wings planned to launch flights to Georgia on June 2.

On May 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the ban on flights to Georgia and the visa regime for citizens of this country. Flights to Georgia were launched by Azimuth and Georgian Airways. Red Wings also received permission to fly to Georgia.
