Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Vadim Vasiliev to the post of Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Russia, decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information. Mr. Vasiliev will oversee the development of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, said RBC with a link to the source.
According to RBC, earlier Vadim Vasiliev worked as acting. Director of the Department of Interbudgetary Relations of the Ministry of Finance.
On September 30, Vladimir Putin signed an agreement on the entry of new territories into Russia. The State Duma and the Federation Council unanimously approved the laws on the accession of new regions to Russia. On October 5, the president signed the relevant laws and appointed acting heads.
