Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law imposing fines of up to 1 million rubles. for dissemination in the media of instructions for the manufacture of ammunition for firearms. The law amends the article on the abuse of freedom of mass media (Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The document was published on the official Internet portal legal information.

The law establishes fines for disseminating information about methods of illegal manufacture of ammunition for citizens from 10 to 50 thousand rubles, as well as confiscation of the subject of the offense. For officials, the fine is set in the range of 40 to 80 thousand, for individual entrepreneurs - from 50 to 100 thousand, for legal entities - from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles.

In addition, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs face an administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days. At the same time, a fine is not provided for the dissemination of information about the methods and methods of self-equipment of cartridges for civilian long-barreled firearms.

The same law provides for amendments to the administrative article on discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). In case of an offense, a fine of 30 to 50 thousand rubles is threatened. for individuals, from 300 to 500 thousand rubles. for legal entities.
