Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a number of laws that relate to the mobilized. Law on labor guarantees provides for the suspension of the employment contract of the mobilized, as a result of which he retains his job. Second law exempts mobilized and members of their families from paying utility bills. Third provides holidays on consumer and mortgage loans to the mobilized and their families.

An application for a loan holiday can be submitted to the lender no later than December 31, 2023. Their term is determined by the borrower. It should not exceed the period of military service of the mobilized (or the period of participation in a military operation for the troops of the National Guard) plus 30 days. The deadline for the start of the grace period is September 21, 2022.

To support those mobilized since September 28, bailiffs temporarily suspended collection of debts from them. Partial mobilization in Russia was announced on 21 September. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, more than 200,000 citizens were drafted within its framework.
