Putin instructed to conduct medical examination of children in new regions of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to conduct a medical examination of children in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, annexed after referendums. According to him, a medical examination can be carried out in kindergartens and schools in the regions with the help of mobile teams.

“It is necessary to conduct a mass medical examination of children in the new territories. Many of them not only did not really study for many years, but also did not receive proper medical care. Part of this work should be organized by visiting teams from various regions of the Russian Federation right in kindergartens and schools,” the head of state said at a meeting of laureates and finalists of the all-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year” (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Today, October 5, Vladimir Putin signed laws on the inclusion of the DPR, LPR, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia. He also appointed interim heads of regions. The Foreign Ministry announced its intention to keep the Ukrainian language in schools in new regions.
