Putin expressed condolences on the death of Vyacheslav Dobrynin
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of condolences to the relatives of composer Vyacheslav Dobrynin. The singer and musician died on Tuesday, October 1.
The head of state emphasized Dobrynin’s great contribution to the development of Russian pop art and noted his original talent. Vladimir Putin called the composer talented and extraordinary, emphasizing that his songs and music will remain with us forever.
The President highly appreciated the work of Vyacheslav Dobrynin earlier - in 2021, he congratulated the composer on his 75th anniversary. Then Vladimir Putin pointed out that the musician’s works had firmly entered the repertoire of many of his stage colleagues, becoming recognizable to several generations of listeners.
Colleagues of Vyacheslav Dobrynin remember the deceased warmly. Lev Leshchenko recalled that Dobrynin was not only a gifted musician, but also possessor of high universal qualities - he “was friends with everyone and was truly, sincerely friends, without any reference to commercial relations.”
Masha Rasputina called Dobrynin a brilliant maestro and genius of music, to whom God gave talent - he “composed magnificent, brilliant melodies that were sung by the whole country.”
