Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was happy to live in Russia and solve the country’s problems. About this he told at a meeting with families awarded the Order of Parental Glory.

“It is a great honor and pleasure to live in Russia, and even more so to solve the problems of the country,” the president said.

In his opening speech, Putin noted that the most important task of the state is to support motherhood, families, especially those with many children. He clarified that it is necessary to go from the real needs of people and families when developing support measures. The President asked those present at the meeting to evaluate the effectiveness of such measures.

In addition, Putin instructed to speed up work on establishing a single status for a large family, as well as to provide a certificate confirming the status in electronic format. There should be flexible forms of employment for parents, he added.

“I would like to note that the current system of social guarantees for families in Russia in the field of protection of motherhood and childhood now applies to residents of new, but at the same time, of course, we understand the historical regions of Russia: the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions” – said the head of state.
