Putin appointed Artem Zhoga as plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Urals Federal District
The Kremlin press service published the text of Vladimir Putin’s decree, according to which the Chairman of the DPR Parliament, Artem Zhoga, is appointed Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District.
“To appoint Artem Vladimirovich Zhoga as a plenipotentiary representative,” the text says.
According to the document, the decree comes into force from the date of signing. In May 2022, Zhoga, during a meeting with Putin, received the gold star of the Hero of Russia, which his son Vladimir was awarded posthumously. In December 2023, Zhoga publicly asked Putin to run for president in the 2024 elections during a meeting.
