Putin and Algerian President discussed cooperation within OPEC+

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune had a telephone conversation during which they reaffirmed their positions on cooperation within OPEC+. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
The Russian and Algerian sides expressed their readiness for further joint work in the energy markets, including within the framework of the OPEC+ oil agreement and within the framework of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, the report says.
“It was agreed to intensify contacts at various levels and prepare important bilateral documents,” the Kremlin added.
On January 30, Putin and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud held a telephone conversation in which they also discussed cooperation within the framework of OPEC+.
