Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not make timely changes to the legal framework with lists of citizens who are not subject to partial mobilization. He announced this at a meeting with laureates and finalists of the all-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year”. Now the defense department, according to Putin, has to make adjustments.
Initially, the Ministry of Defense, as the president said, reported on a number of categories of citizens whose conscription is not necessary. However, changes were not made to the regulatory framework in a timely manner.
During a meeting with the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the head of state previously stated that, first of all, those who are in the reserve and also have combat experience and specialties in demand are subject to partial mobilization.
