Prosecutor's office of Chukotka checks information on oil spill in the Bering Sea


The prosecutor's office of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug organized an audit of reports of pollution of the Bering Sea near the village of Lavrentiya. On November 23, the administration of the Chukotka region announced the discovery of a 12-kilometer fuel slick in the Gulf of Lavrentiya, which came from the ship.
