Prosecutor requests 8.5 years of imprisonment for blogger Shpak in fake news case

TASS reported that the prosecutor demanded that blogger Alexander Shpak be sentenced in absentia to 8.5 years in prison.

As the state prosecutor clarified, the blogger should be found guilty of disseminating knowingly false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces.

Let us recall that Shpak was put on the wanted list on January 13. Some time later, he was arrested in absentia. Earlier, Shpak burned his Russian passport on camera.
