The company was founded in 1992. Shortly thereafter, it acquired the rights to use the trademark Pony Express, an American postal service that existed in the second half of the 19th century. In 1994, a Pony Express representative office was opened in Kazakhstan, a year later in Ukraine, and in 2007 the company entered the Armenian market. Now it has representative offices in 11 neighboring countries.
The company specialized in express delivery of documents, packages and cargo on a door-to-door basis. In December 2014, a decision was made to change the strategy. In addition to express delivery and visa services, Pony Express began to develop warehousing, processing, inventory management, routing and forwarding, becoming a one-stop logistics operator.
The company in Russia includes 84 express centers and more than 5 thousand partner delivery points.
